Emmy-winning sound professional and storyteller

Nil Tiberi is an Emmy-winning sound professional and storyteller with over 20 years of experience in the creative industry.
She began her journey studying Cinema, Television, and Radio at the Academy of Communication Arts in Istanbul. Her career started in 2003 as a production assistant and quickly advanced to second unit director for major TV channels and production companies. In 2008, she moved to Vancouver, Canada, to study Film Production at Vancouver Film School, where she discovered her passion for sound. Guided by her mentor, Will Meadow, she committed to the path of sound mixing and never looked back.
Nil has since built a thriving career in New York City as a production sound mixer and editor, contributing to documentaries, commercials, short films, and online content for over 12 years. In 2024, she received an Emmy Award for her work—a testament to her dedication, craft, and creative excellence.
